When Was the Last Time You Did Something For the First Time?

I can answer this very boldly by saying it was the day I passed my National and State Real Estate Examinations. And no I don’t mean passing them the first time. Simply put I passed the needed exams and I’m proud to say I’m a licensed realtor! This was even a goal on my list for the year! I’m just grateful it came to pass!! God is sooooooo good! I had so many trials and tribulations to come about during this journey, but it was in his will so I’m going to roll with it!

My inspiration to pursue this industry came from my experience buying my first home. Now don’t get me wrong I had a great realtor and she was there every step of the way, but it was that closing disclosure that had me like, “I can do this!” Fast forward to now, I’m working and reading up on all things real estate from the many databases used to the scripts and objection handlings (that’s referring to when I call, YOU, the customer and you either hang up or dismiss me with some quick line of NO!). It’s okay though it’s all a learning curve and I am totally here for it.

I’ve signed with a great brokerage firm, City Insight Houston, and it was the best decision made for me. They’ve been nothing but amazing and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon…so all you recruiters out there, “Don’t come for me unless I call for you!”

Nevermind my test day looks…it was rough on me!
